In this short book, Noam Chomsky analyses the US foreign strategy of dominating certain regions with ''local cops on the beat.'' In other words, US imperialists supporting dictatorships(US clients/puppets) to maintain stability of their benefits in the region. And this is the true nature of ''World-Policeman'', '' Freedom Fighter'', and ''Cold Warrior.''

The main point of his article is the definition of ''Rogue State.'' It means some country which threatens US supremacy and its client states that supported by US.

For example, in Middle East, Edward W. Said indicates that

''The United States has always opposed any sign of Arab nationalism or independence, partly for its own imperial reasons and partly because its unconditional support for Israel requires it to do so.'' (PP.7-8)

Noam Chomsky is one of the best annalists who leads our thought to the correctness and inner-logic behind the complicated political scenes.
