In this documentary, The director Patricio Guzman depicts who Allende was in terms of balanced view of democratic approach toward Allende. One of his friends testifies that Allende was not a communist/marxist at all because He didn't even mention Marx or Lenin, and what he tried to apply for building a socialist society was multiple party system, nationalization of major industries, eliminating US imperialist forces in Chile, congressional methods and the labor-autonomy among industrial productions. Patricio Guzman successfully protected and recreated the vivid image of the true democratic socialist who gave us alternative towards true socialist society in the future.
