This film depicts that the cause and the consequences of the notorious CIA covert operation of 9/11/1973 in Chile. And this one is the best of the best documentaries which analyzes how CIA and the imperialists' neo-colonialism implant opposition parties abroad to disfunction domestic democracy and nationalism of foreign countries since WW2.
This time they used military officials who used to be trained at SOA, the CIA backed students' fascist party ''Homeland and Freedom movement,''and the logistic companies. First, CIA and the multi-national company ITT set-up de-stabilizing Chile's economy under Allende to cause the mess and hostility among Chileans, and brainwash the mass, then they mislead the military officials to rise against the Allende's democratic national popular front. In nowadays, this kind of CIA covert operation still does exist, and it's effectively being applied in Asian countries.
I strongly suggest you to watch this film if you are a true nationalist or a democrat who oppose the Neo-Liberalism.
